WOW sneezing hurts my wisdom tooth!!!! Wowwwww. Will be avoiding that from now on. So, as you know, my teeth are comin in all crazy and ferocious, but there is now a discrepancy between my insurance and the surgeon’s office. My insurance was going to pay for the one that hurts. Now they are saying they pay for emergency PAIN, while the surgeon says they pay for EMERGENCY pain. Apparently my pain is not to the emergency level. So I guess I’m going to wait until it hurts unbearably because I don’t want my parents to have to pay for both. #lame #ouch
As your facebook must tell you, I spent some time viewing Jimmy Fallon videos yesterday. I forgot how funny he is. Seriously, he’s so funny. I watched clips of his recent interview with Jim Gaffigan. I thought of you and laughed when he started telling jokes about the gym and personal trainers. You should watch it. You won’t agree like most people, but you will laugh. Here: http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/jim-gaffigan-part-2-22811/1306253/. (I also heart Neil Patrick Harris -- http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/neil-patrick-harris-magic-42409/1091407/?__cid=thefilter.) (And if you want to be horrified, watch Jimmy's new series "Jersey Floor".)
I’m trying to decide who has the more beautiful voice: Justin Bieber or David Archuleta, more amicably known as the Biebs and Little David. Both have the voices OF ANGELS!!!! On this I will not sway. Ohhhhhhhhh but I REALLY love Ray Lamontagne’s voice… this is a difficult decision. I don’t know if I can make it.
I was thinking yesterday about how my car is pretty much an extension of my body. We belong together, Lola and I. Partners in crime (sorry, she trumps you there). With current gas prices raping my eyes and my wallet, I decided that it might be beneficial to think of her as a human. Not literally, of course, but financially. She costs me about $35 a week right now, give or take, and then every now and then she takes a bigger chunk out of my bank account. But really, how much do I cost a week? Factoring in food, electricity, water, my apartment, coffee, my phone, and then the occasional shameful shopping/friend trip taking chunks much larger than they should be… I cost quite a bit more than that. Really, Lola is a bargain. A BARGAIN. #glasshalffull
Also this morning on my drive to work (SIDE NOTE IT IS AMAZING HOW MUCH MORE ENERGY I HAVE WHEN IT’S SUNNY AND WARM BUT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS RAINING TODAY I DIDN’T CARE BECAUSE SPRING IS COMING AND I WAS SINGING WITH THE BIEBS) I was thinking about speed limits and time. How if I were to go 60 miles per hour, I would go 60 miles. But then that got me musing on our system of time. Hours have 60 minutes, days have 24 hours, years have 365 days... those are not even numbers, my friend. So really, America is the most awesome country in the world. We don’t use the easy peasy lemon squeezy metric system; we use standard, with all its crazy numbers, because 1) it’s historically accurate, and 2) we like a challenge!!!!! Go America!!!!!!!
I wish we used the metric system.
Informally,
Becca :)
P.S. OMG I JUST LEARNED THAT SOMEONE AT MY CHURCH IS OFFERING A CAPOEIRA CLASS SO I REALLY AM GOING TO LEARN BRAZILIAN STREET FIGHTING AND BE ABLE TO KICK YOUR BOXING BUTT!!!!!
